He advises and advocates for owners, contractors, subcontractors, and sureties in high-stakes, multi-party litigation, with a reputation for delivering practical, strategic solutions in complex legal disputes.
Dylan has represented clients at all levels of Ontario’s trial and appellate courts, including the Superior Court of Justice, the Court of Appeal for Ontario, the Divisional Court, the Ontario Court of Justice, and the Small Claims Court. His civil litigation practice spans the full lifecycle of a file—from initial pleadings and motions to trials, enforcement, and alternative dispute resolution.
He has particular expertise navigating Ontario’s Construction Act, regularly acting in lien, bond, trust, and adjudication proceedings. His recent mandates include acting in a high-value P3 arbitration and numerous high-value adjudications.
Before joining Beale & Co, Dylan honed his litigation skills at a leading regional firm in Toronto and a boutique construction practice in Ottawa. These experiences gave him a broad foundation in construction and commercial litigation, with a focus on responsiveness, efficiency, and results.
